Yau Fic Chapter 13
"Clarissa! Clarissa! Lee Yau help!!!!!" Elly yells out. Lee Yau immediately turns around and runs over when he seeing Clarissa passed out on the steps. "What happened?! She was fatigued but it shouldn't have affected her this bad!" Ella shrugs her shoulders, "she just had a bite of the Fried Rice I made and passed out." In a rush Lee Yau picks Clarissa up, rests her over his shoulder, grabs hold of her legs, and starts running to the Clinic as quickly as possible. He lays her on the patient bed and fumbles through the tonics before grabbing a vomit inducing one. His thumb gently pulls at her chin to open her mouth, and pours a small amount of tonic in. A few seconds later she turns over with her face hanging off the bed and throws up on his shoes. "Lovely..." he says sarcastically. "Uggghh...." she groans and lays back on the bed. "Are you purposely creating work for me?" Lee Yau says with some sass. "If I didnt eat it she would have hit me....." she groaned again and looked up at him. "Hmm you are still looking a little blue...." He walks over back to the tonics and pulls out a few powders, after he mixes them together he grabs a glass and pours the mixture in before adding water. The water turns green and he stirs it before handing her the cup. "What is this?" She asks while holding it up to look at the green liquid. "A mixture of herbs, they are nutritious and filled with vitamins. Please drink it. All of it." He replies. She sits up, takes a sip, sticks out her tongue in disgust, then chugs the whole thing. "Good. Now lay back down, I am going to change my shoes." He says as he starts to turn towards his room but a loud growl from Clarissa's stomach stops him. He frowns, "You didn't get anything to eat?" Clarissa stares at him, "Does poison count?" He sighs and walks over to the kitchen, within minutes the smell of fried eggs fills the room and Clarissa's mouth waters. A plate with two slightly burned eggs is placed on her lap. "Im sorry, cooking is not my forte. They are a little overcooked..." Lee Yau says sheepishly. She scarfs it up quickly and he chuckles. "Did I make enough? Do you want me to make more?" She nods and holds up the plate with both hands, her eyes sparkling. A smile appears on his lips as he grabs the plate and walks back over to the kitchen. When she finishes two more eggs the color in her face returns to normal. "Thank you, Lee Yau." Clarissa says warmly. "No more Yau-kun?" He says with a smirk. She blushes, "Ah that was just a joke...." and places her hair behind her ears. "You never told me what it meant." He states matter of factly. "It's a Japanese term of..... endearment. Like I said it was just a joke, I wont call you that anymore." She replies hesitantly. His eyes soften, "hmm I dont mind. Call me whatever you want, it is just a name. Rest here tonight, you're still weak and Id prefer to keep an eye on you." She nods and blushes, "Ok... Yau-kun...." she whispers gently. He smiles in return, "alright I will be right back, Im going to change my shoes now." Clarissa looks puzzled, "what's wrong with your shoes?" she says as she looks down at his feet. "Oh my Gosh!!!!! I am so sorry!!!!!!" His hand goes to his chin, "Unfortunately as a doctor I encounter all types of bodily fluids, there's no need to worry. Though if you wanted to repay me for my shoes, the tonic, and the herbs some more bento boxes would be appreciated.... Of course if you pass out again you will have some medical bills, so please make sure not to do that again." She laughs as she lays back down, "Alright. Ill keep that in mind." Lee Yau walks towards his bedroom, stopping at his parents bedroom to relay something to them before changing his shoes and sitting down at the front desk. Clarissa drifts off to sleep with the clacking of computer keys.
