Yau Fic Chapter 17

Ding ding! "Heehee~ Morning! What can I do for you two?" The Carpenter chirps as Lee Yau and Clarissa walk in. "Good morning Uncle Steve! Im here looking into getting a Poultry Barn, and maybe some other things I might need to help with the farm." Clarissa responds. (Uncle Steve is the best! He's always been so nice to me, he even checked in on me after Grandpa died. I dont know why we all started calling him 'uncle' he's still pretty young looking, though he's probably in his forties... Thank God he's not my real uncle, it would be weird considering he's kinda hot. I wonder what he looks like with his hair down.....) she blushes at this thought. "......" Yau makes a weird face and turns away from her. "I'll wait outside..." He says before walking back out the door. (What? Why is he leaving?) She turns and stares at the door with curiosity but her attention is focused back on Steve when he speaks, "I guess it's just you that needs help then? Im happy to help you build a Poultry Barn if you have the resources. Might be a good idea for an Animal Barn too, if you want to produce milk too." Clarissa tilts her head, "Yau was just making sure I got here ok, I got beat up in the Mines yesterday. Resources? What resources do I need? Cant I just pay you for them?" Steve smiles, takes out a pen and notepad, and begins writing while he explains,  "Buildings use a lot of resources, I don't have access to such a large quantity. Lulu logs for me to make furniture, but even she can't bring in that much lumber. For the Poultry Barn you'll need 120 Logs, 60 cobbles of Stone, 10 bundles of hay, and it will be 1200 coins. For the Animal Barn you'll need 145 Logs, 110 cobbles of Stone, 10 Mahogany Logs, and it will be 1600 Coins." Clarissa places her hand on top of his, "You don't need to write all that down Uncle Steve, I already have all that. Ive been working the farm for the past few weeks and had to tear down a lot of trees, worn down fences, and pull up some rough looking stone paths. You can use recycled materials right?" Steve nods and tears off the paper, crumpling it and throwing it away. "In that case Ill get started on it now, should have it done in a day or two. Where would you like to put the barns?" He pulls out a map of the Manor and Clarissa points to a couple spots by the stream, "There are some remains of the old barns you can use but I would like them moved close by the stream so that the animals have easier access to drinking water." He nods in agreement and pencils in the barns on the map. "Alright I better head out and see what's up with Lee Yau. Bye Uncle Steve!" Clarissa waves as she heads out and he waves back.

When Clarissa steps outside the Carpenter's house she sees an irritated and bored Lee Yau leaning against the wall. "Took you long enough, what were you doing making him lunch?" Yau huffs angrily. She walks over and leans beside him, "I wasn't in there that long. You alright? You look really upset." He looks down and frowns, "I don't know, I just got really angry all of the sudden when I saw your face while you were talking with Steve. It's irrational." She looks up at him quizzically, "My face? What was wrong with my face?" He moves in front of her and draws his face close to hers, she blushes instantly. "That! You made that face while looking at him!" He yells out as he draws back again. Clarissa stares at him in bewilderment, "This face..? What do you- .........Ohhhhhh..." (It must have been when I was imagining Uncle Steve with his hair down, Im a sucker for long hair... Lee Yau would look pretty good with long hair too~ Wait a minute.....) "Yau-kun..... are you... jealous?" She says with a grin. He makes a weird face at her question, "Why would I be jealous? That's absurd!" She leans in towards him, looking into his eyes "You got irrationally angry because I was looking at another man with interest. Then upon me coming out you immediately ask an irrational question, if I had cooked lunch for him. Logically that sounds like jealousy and not at all absurd." His face goes blank as he gets lost in thought for a moment and she chuckles. (His EQ is so low he couldn't tell what jealousy was, I doubt he would even know if he was in love with someone. Then again he seems interested in Jessie and is considering talking to Elly so I don't know... Maybe it was a friendly jealousy? I dont think he has any other friends besides me, he's always either with family or alone. That must be it. He's like a child who made their first friend and doesnt want to share them with anyone.) "Dont worry, I wont stop being your friend. Even though you get on my nerves sometimes, you are growing on me. I won't ditch you, so there is no need to be angry ok?" She says as she gives him a hug, he tenses up at first but relaxes, placing his arms gently around her. "......" They hold eachother like that for ten minutes, her snuggling into his chest. [Since the game only progresses in 10min increments lol]. Clarissa looks up at Yau and kisses his cheek again, "My cute little Yau-kun~♡ All worried about losing me~♡" He blushes but looks angry at the same time, "I am not 'cute'! And I wasn't worried either! Ugh you ruin even nice moments with that atrocious mouth of yours!" (Opps! Busted! He is starting to catch on to my sense of humor~ Took him long enough... like seriously lol) "I dont know what you're talking about Yau-kuuuuuunn~ I didn't say anything mean, I was only complimenting you~♡" He glares at her and unwraps his arms, "I'm starting to get irritated by the way you say Yau-kun. Anyway, do you still want to go to Jessie's house?" She drops her arms and covers her mouth before he can see her grin, "Aww Yau-kun, you're so cold~♡ Mentioning another woman after getting so cozy with me~♡" His mouth opens in amazement of her, and he grumbles, "If you're going to continue to act like that then should I treat you as someone interested in me?" He presses her against the wood of the house and lifts her chin with his finger, "Do you want my attention?" Her eyes dilate as she stares back at him and considers how she wants to respond, "....If I said yes what would you do?" Lee Yau searches her eyes unable to grasp her intent even though she seemingly responded with seriousness, he lowers his face and rubs the tip of her nose with his own while staring into her eyes and wrapping his arms around her waist to test her resolve. "You're naughty Yau-kun~ Talking about Jessie but any girl will do huh?" She says teasingly, purposely making sure not to blush. He sighs and pulls away, "I knew you were messing with me. As for your little comment, my attraction to Jessie is physical since I do not know her well. Relation wise I am much closer with you but no not 'any' girl will do. Also you are the one who suggested visiting her home and inquiring about me." Clarissa chuckles, "Im glad you're catching on. What are you implying though? Am I not physically attractive enough for you?" He looks at her with both impatience and thoughtfulness, "You are more than adequate, Ive already told you before that I find you attractive. Im sure any man in town would agree that you are the most attractive woman in town." She shakes her head believing she misheard, "wait what? What did you just say? You're joking right? With hotties like Elly and Jessie you're saying IM the most attractive woman in town? Are you messing with me to get back at me right now?" He gives her a strange look, "Why are you surprised? You've always been the best looking woman in town." She crosses her arms, "HA! As if! If that was the case I'd have a boyfriend by now!" He shuffles a bit uncomfortably, "You might have if you had ever shown any interest in anyone or even an interest in remaining in town. Your disdain for it and everyone in it was always very apparent." (Oh.... he's right, I made it very clear I didn't want to stay here or get close to anyone... but still... ME? Have they seen my hair? Ya I have the boobs but with this unruly mess surely he's joking?) "Yau come on now this is starting to lose it's amusement. Im hardly as good looking as Elly or Jessie, Fay would be much cuter than me too. Im sure guys around here would be more interested in May than me. All I got going for me are big boobs, so either you're a liar or the guys in town are bigger pervs than I thought. I know the only reason you even considered kissing me was just curiosity...." she says disheartedly. Upon realizing these were her actual thoughts Yau grabs her face and suddenly his mouth is on her own, his tongue making its way in with unexpected passion. She starts staggering back in shock but his arms draw her against his chest and his enthusiasm deepens, pretty soon she is pressed back up against the house. "Umhnnn" A moan escapes her as his tongue wraps around her own. Her fingers entwine in his hair, encouraging his sudden boldness. Yau lifts her up off the ground and her legs wrap around his hips. (Oh man I must be losing my mind... but he feels so goooooood♡) her hands grasp the back of his shirt as his mouth leaves hers and makes its way down her neck. "Ahhhhmmmmm ♡ Yau~♡" Hearing his name his face draws back, looking at Clarissa with passionate eyes. Then his eyes come into focus and they both pant lightly while looking at eachother with confusion and desire. "Ah, Im sorry I don't know what got a hold of me." He says, his tongue travels across his bottom lip. She clears her throat and manages to utter, "Im ok, it was just a moment of very ....enjoyable... weakness...." she clears her throat again and lowers her feet to the ground. "Still I shouldnt have kissed you that way, it was improper. I apologize, I should have had more self-control." He says sheepishly. "Really it's ok, we both got a little.... heated. I think it is best if I head back home." He nods and holds a hand out to help her step down off the porch. She grasps his hand and they walk in silence back to the Manor.
