Yau Fic Chapter 18

The walk back to the Manor was awkward to both Lee Yau and Clarissa. They both tried to talk but would remember their kissing and immediately blush. When they get to the Manor Clarissa stops right in front of the door, leans against it, and stares at Yau. (Do I invite him in? Do I say goodbye? Am I supposed to give him hugs or something now???? This is weird. It's Yau of all people. I feel like I just got back from a horrible date instead of a hot make out session. Like seriously how am I supposed to interact with him now? He's supposed to be just a friend but that... that wasn't what 'friends' do. Man right after I just said I didn't want friends with benefits.... Im not really interested in Yau either, he's growing on me sure but it's not like I would want to date him....) She rubs one foot on top of the other in awkward indecision, "Um... I dont know what to say to you right now. We've both been clear that we aren't interested in eachother...." He clears his throat, "I think you said it best earlier, it was a moment of 'enjoyable weakness' let's keep it at that. I have to get to the Mayor's now, it's past the time of his normal weekly physical." Yau turns around and starts walking away, after a few feet he looks back and gives a small wave. Clarissa waves back and heads inside. Immediately she flops on her bed, Peppe jumping off right before her face hits her pillow. (Oiiiiiiiiiiiiii what is that boy doing to me.... like for real...) She digs her face into the pillow and counts how long she can hold her breath then lets out a loud "RAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and flips onto her back. (Let me get my mind off of him...) She grabs the book that was nicely placed at the foot of her bed. She opens it to a random page and the first thing she reads is: For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever. (Reallly? Wow ok let me try a different page.) She opens it to a different page and this pops out at her: Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (Dude WTF? You calling me out here!!!!!) She slams the book closed and throws it across the room. It falls open onto the floor near the window. Peppe jumps and arches his back, startled by the sudden violence. "Im sorry Peppe, Im just... ugh.... I dont even know." She says as she pulls the cat into a cuddle, he squirms a bit but settles down and licks her face. The image of her licking Yau's neck immediately fills her mind. (NOOOO!!!! OMGOSH GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!) She smothers her face into Peppe's stomach and Peppe gives her a light nip on the head. (Et tu Peppe?!?!??! Ughhhh. Yau just needs to get himself a girlfriend and stay his butt off of me. Wait a minute.... that's right he's interested in Jessie! Should I still go to her house...? I mean I said I would before he........ Yup Im going. Screw whatever that was I am going.) Clarissa hops out of bed and places Peppe back on top of her head before heading back out the door.

Told from the perspective of the MC in their youth (not time traveling).  A glimmer shines into the eyes of a sleeping girl by the stream. She knows she is supposed to be fixing the farm but figures any day is a good day to relax. "Sleeping again? Won't you ever learn to take better care of your Grandpa's farm?" Once outside Clarissa staggers down the pathway and halts in front of the bridge, someone with purple hair is walking towards her. She points at him, "Yoou! Yuu! Ive had nuff of yu! I suuuuuuck as a wingperson! Just go get the cheeps yurself!" Lee Yau walks into view carefully carrying eggs. Elly walks over to him and whispers in his ear. Clarissa gasps, "I dun mean that ferst!!!! You you you! You worstest! Duke ish better than yu!" She smacks the eggs out of his hands in anger and he sighs. "Elly you can go home, I will take her to the Clinic." Elly nods and heads back home. "WAIT! WAIIIIIIT!!!! UM.... ummm..... I forgot."
