Yau Fic Chapter 19

Sun shining high in the sky, Clarissa manages to make it to the Violin House without encountering anyone. Jessie sits in front of the house on a blue checkered blanket covered with food and stuffed animals. (What in the....?) "H-hello Jessie..." Clarissa stutters. "Clarissa hello! Im having Fruit Tea, would you like to join me?" Jessie pipes cheerfully. "Uhhhhhh sure...." She finds an open spot to the left of Jessie and sits down. Jessie grabs an empty tea set from in front of the bears and pours a red tea into the cup, handing to to Clarissa once it is full. "Thank you. It smells good." Clarissa says right before she takes a sip. "I like the smell of Fruit Tea, so sweet." Jessie responds. "I taste Cherry and Lemon, what other fruit is in this?" Clarissa asks. "Strawberries and Raspberries! My Mom makes it every week just for this tea party." Jessie says with a large smile. Clarissa's eyebrow raises, "Tea party? But it is just you here." Jessie shakes her head, "Mr. Buttons, Cuddlewuddle, and Snugglebug are here and Lulu will be here in an hour or two." Confused Clarissa speaks up, "Who are the three you mentioned besides Lulu?" Jessie points to the bears on the otherside of the blanket, she calls the large brown one Mr. Buttons, the pink one Snugglebug, and the bunny in the red dress Cuddlewuddle. (Ok if she was a kid this would be cute but shes my age, this is just creepy....) Clarissa smiles and nods her head, she waves hello to the bears and Jessie looks pleased. "So Jessie, I was wondering.... are you interested in anyone in town?" Clarissa asks frankly. "Well there is a cute bunny by the Ranch that I keep losing track of! He is very interesting!" Jessie replies. "No no no I meant a person." Clarissa says as she waves her hands in front of her. "Hmmmmm.... my friend in the forest is interesting! She's so pretty!" Jessie says with a satisfied smile. Clarissa sweat drops, (Is she just dense or really that innocent?) "What about you? What do you think is the most adorable in town?" Jessie asks kindly. "Peppe of course!" Clarissa says with uncharacteristic enthusiasm. She grabs Peppe down off of the head and rubs noses with him before holding him out for Jessie to better see. "Oh! He's so cute!!!! Hello Peppe, it's nice to meet you!!" Jessie says while shaking his little paw. Clarissa beams with happiness and snuggles with Peppe. "Can Peppe have a treat? My mom made me Vingar Fish, but he can have a little if he likes." Jessie asks while holding up the plate of fish. "Awww♡ Thank you! Yes that's fine." Clarissa responds and puts Peppe down while Jessie cuts off a small piece and puts it on a plate for Peppe. Peppe walks over and licks the fish then starts chowing down. "So cute!!!" The girls say in unison, then they look at eachother and laugh. "So who is your friend in the forest?" Clarissa asks. Jessie hesitates to respond then says, "Im not really supposed to talk about her. Only Lulu has met her, she hides when anyone else is around." Clarissa is curious but doesn't try to inquire about it anymore, "Well what I was trying to ask earlier was if there were any boys in town that you like." Jessie ponders for a moment, "Bill is really nice, he always makes sure to keep stock of the latest fashion in the clothes shop for me. Andy is nice too, he always keeps an eye out during dance practice to let me know what should be improved." (Wait wait wait wait wait, Mr. Perv is actually helping not just peeping?) Clarissa takes a sip of tea then says, "I didn't know that Andy knew anything about dance." Jessie nods and smiles, "He used to watch ballets in the City before he came here. He went by a different name back then... I think it was Jack, Jack Dawson. I met him a few times before he moved here, after I told him about the town he said he had to see it himself and he hasn't left since." (Huh... I didn't know all of that... maybe Ive been too harsh on him. Maybe Ill stop by the bar on my way home. But more importantly...) "What about Lee Yau? Some say he's the best looking guy in town." Clarissa asks, (I might be laying it on a little thick there... but she's dense so she might need a little push to get what I am asking.) Jessie looks at her puzzled, "Do they? I'm too preoccupied with ballet, I never even noticed." (Oooouch Yau. That's a strike with Jessie. Should I try to Wingman this?) "I heard he's really nice when you go in for bandages. Maybe you should try talking to him a little next time, you might get along." Clarissa hints with a wink. "I guess I could, I might make a new friend!" Jessie replies happily. (Poor Yau, the Yausie Ship crashed and burned in the friendzone before it even set sail.... RIP) Clarissa presses her hands together and bows her head to pay respects to the deceased ship. The girls continue on in random chatter about cute things while eating cake and drinking tea for the next hour then Clarissa relays that she is going to head over to the bar and waves goodbye, passing by Lulu on the way out.
